El mundo de la televisión estadounidense se vio agitado anoche con la entrega de premios de los Emmy. Series, miniseries, tv movies, programas de variedad, reality shows y un largo etcétera querían postularse con lo más de la llamada "caja tonta" o pequeña pantalla, término que les gusta más. Lo cierto es que eso de pequeña ya le queda, y nunca mejor dicho, pequeño, y no porque las pantallas de hoy parezcan monstruos rectangulares sacados de una película de ciencia ficción, no, sino porque los pequeños formatos se han hecho muy grandes, y las estrellas que se pasean por ellos están más que a la altura de las circunstancias. Incluso nos atreveríamos a decir que eclipsan a las estrellas del cine, no es de extrañar que muchas de éstas se hayan cambiado de medio.
